What’s different?

Finish
G32PGlossyanti-glare
G32XMatte3H anti-glare

The glossy G32P makes colour leap and blacks go deeper — best in dim or controlled light. The G32X’s 3H anti-glare matte scatters reflections into a soft, glare-free surface — best by a bright window.

Panel & contrast
G32PNano IPS Black2000:1 · 99% P3
G32XIPS1500:1 · 98% P3

The G32P runs an LG Nano IPS Black panel — deeper 2000:1 contrast and a wider 99% DCI-P3. The G32X’s IPS panel is still excellent, just a touch flatter at 1500:1 and 98% P3.

Pixels
G32P6144 × 3456223 PPI
G32X6016 × 3384218 PPI

Both are true 6K and razor-sharp on a Mac. The G32P simply packs a few more pixels, so it sits marginally denser — a difference you’ll measure more than see.

Front
G32PGlass fronteven bezels
G32XMatte plasticslim top & sides · chin

The G32P has a glass front with even bezels on all four sides — clean and balanced. The G32X covers the panel in matte plastic rather than glass, with very slim top and side bezels and a slightly larger bottom chin.

Back panel
G32PPerforated rearanodised aluminium
G32XFlat rearanodised aluminium

Both rears are machined from anodised aluminium. The G32P wears a ventilated, perforated panel; the G32X has a clean, flat back.

Glossy reflects. Matte scatters.

An illustration of the optical difference: the glossy G32P mirrors the room and pops with contrast; the matte G32X diffuses light into a fine, glare-free surface. Drag to compare.

Matte finish — glare-free, light scattered
Glossy finish — punchier color, reflects the room

Illustrative — real-world finish depends on your room’s lighting.

Why 6K on a Mac

Native 6K, no scaling tax

6144 × 3456 and 6016 × 3384 — macOS draws every pixel one-to-one. No blurry fractional scaling, no soft text.

Mac-class pixel density

223 and 218 PPI match the sharpness of a built-in Mac display, stretched across a 32-inch canvas.

Deep contrast, true colour

A 6K panel with deep 2000:1 contrast and wide DCI-P3 colour for detail-critical work — all over a single USB-C cable.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Kuycon G32P a true 6K monitor for Mac?
Yes. The G32P runs a native 6144 × 3456 (6K) panel — 21.2 million pixels at 223 PPI. macOS treats it as a HiDPI display, so text and the interface render with crisp native scaling at Mac-class pixel density. The matte G32X is 6016 × 3384 at 218 PPI.
Does it support native HiDPI scaling on macOS?
Yes. Connected to a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 and later) over USB-C, both displays drive their full 6K resolution and let macOS scale the interface for sharp, native HiDPI rendering — no blurry fractional scaling.
What is the difference between the G32P and the G32X?
Same 32-inch 6K class, different panel, finish and enclosure. G32P is glossy glass on an LG Nano IPS Black panel (2000:1, 223 PPI) with even bezels and a perforated anodised-aluminium back. G32X is a matte 3H anti-glare plastic front on an IPS panel (1500:1, 218 PPI) with very slim top and side bezels, a larger bottom chin, and a flat anodised-aluminium back. Glossy reads punchier; matte erases glare.
Glossy or matte — which 6K should I choose?
Pick the glossy G32P for controlled or dim lighting, where its deeper contrast and richer colour come through. Pick the matte G32X for bright offices and windows, where the 3H anti-glare coating kills reflections.
Does it work with a Mac mini, Mac Studio or MacBook Pro?
Yes. Any Apple Silicon Mac — MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro or iMac — drives full 6K at 60 Hz over USB-C; just plug into the Mac’s Thunderbolt or USB-C port. A single cable can also deliver up to 100 W to charge a connected laptop.
Does it work with Windows or a PC, not just Mac?
Yes. Both connect over DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 or USB-C and run 6K at 60 Hz on supported Windows and Linux GPUs. A USB4, DisplayPort 1.4 DSC / 2.1, or HDMI 2.1 output is required for full 6K.
