Warranty Period

The warranty period is 1 year from the delivery date for all Kuycon monitors purchased directly from kuycon.us in the United States and eligible countries.

Pixel Defect Policy

ISO 9241-307 Class I compliant

Kuycon monitors are manufactured to meet ISO 9241-307 Class I standards.

Under this policy, a display may have up to 1 bright pixel, 1 dark pixel, or 2 stuck sub-pixels per million pixels.

However, kuycon.us provides stricter coverage: if your unit has more than 1 defective pixel of any sort per million, it qualifies for replacement under our Limited Warranty.

Other Defect Definitions

The following are also considered defects covered under warranty:

• Failure of critical components (power supply, video inputs)
• Severe display faults (permanent lines, major back-light bleed, significant colour distortion)

Exclusions

The following are not covered under warranty: minor pixel anomalies, cosmetic wear, misuse, accidents, external causes, or damage resulting from improper handling or installation.

OLED and QD-OLED: image retention and burn-in

Products with an OLED or QD-OLED panel are subject to image retention and, over time, to permanent burn-in where the same static content — a taskbar, a game HUD, a station logo, spreadsheet gridlines, a stationary window — is displayed for extended periods, especially at high brightness. This is an inherent characteristic of the panel technology and a form of gradual wear, not a manufacturing defect, and it is not covered by this Limited Warranty. Image retention and burn-in are governed by this paragraph rather than by the general categories of covered defect listed above. Keep the built-in panel protections enabled (pixel shift, panel refresh cycle, automatic brightness limiter), vary what is on screen, and let the display sleep. Whether a retained image or luminance non-uniformity is a covered defect is assessed by Kuycon on a full-screen solid-colour test and, where the panel reports them, on its own usage and pixel-refresh counters. A fault confirmed on that test is covered. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Claim Procedure

To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

1. Email [email protected] or other official contacts available on the Contacts page with proof of the defect and your order number.
2. United States: You will receive a prepaid shipping label — return shipping is on us. Ship to our service facility or return to the Kuycon warehouse.
3. Outside United States: Transportation arrangements will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
4. We will repair, replace, or refund at our option after inspection.
